Laoniu Children's Discovery Museum in CNCC (LCDM)

LCDM is the first large-scale children's museum in Beijing that is initiated by China National Children's Center (CNCC) and funded by Lao Niu Foundation. The project has also received great support from All-China Women's Federation. Re-built on the basis of CNCC Science Palace, LCDM covers a construction area of approximately 2,400 square meters. Preparation for the construction of the museum was started in November 2012. The museum is planned to be officially open to the public on May 31, 2015.

LCDM, Chinese Zodiac-themed, contains five exhibit halls (sixteen galleries with nearly one hundred exhibits), a changing exhibit hall, and a 4D theater. All exhibits are designed by an American professional design company in museum area. The exhibit design perfectly incorporates advanced concepts of foreign exhibit design and traditional Chinese culture.

LCDM focuses on the educational philosophy of hands-on and discovery learning. The museum is committed to providing kids with experiences that will ignite their imagination, creativity, and other potentials, so that they can get a clear understanding of the world and acquire knowledge and skills as well as developing independent thinking and problem-solving ability.

CMRC provides professional management training and consulting services on construction, exhibit design and fabrication, and operations management for LCDM.

Hohhot Children's Discovery Museum (LNCM)

LNCM is a non-profit children's project funded by Hohhot Government and Lao Niu Foundation. The museum is the first sustainable children's project with Chinese characteristics in the world that is established on the basis of cooperation between the government and social organization. The project has also received great support from the Ministry of Education of China and Government of Inner Mongolia. Located in Xilinguole South Road of Hohhot (the original location of Hohhot Children's Palace), the project will cover a construction area of approximately 71,000 square meters, including museum buildings, public square for children, the museum's affiliated preschool, and a basement garage. The museum itself covers a construction area of 25,000 square meters. Preparation for the construction of the museum was started in October 2012.

The museum consists of two buildings. The "EXPLORE" building provides exhibits about society, history, geography, culture, art, etc. to inspire children's imagination and creativity, so that children can get a clear understanding of themselves, their family, city, region, country, world, and even the universe through hands-on experience. Based on the educational objectives of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), the "INVESTIGATE" building allows children to travel from deep time to the future, so that children can develop independent thinking and problem-solving ability by using their hands and brain to investigate the nature of things.

The museum buildings and exhibits are designed by an American professional design company in museum area. The design perfectly incorporates advanced concepts of foreign exhibit design and local characteristics of Inner Mongolia.

CMRC provides construction project management, ROI forecast and research, professional management training, and consulting services on construction, exhibit design and fabrication, and operations management for LNCM.
